  2. Thinking of you. From what I've read here, it sounds like you gave her a wonderful life.

  3. Our blessed Metropolitan Kallistos Ware who means to much to many of us Orthodox reposed in Christ this week. I read that someone once asked him if animals would be in heaven, and he said, "Of course. They were with Noah in the ark." But I am sorry for the loss of Dolly -- even if it is temporary. <3

  4. Almost 20! I'll say it again, but in the past tense now: I'm sure glad you had each other. That's so hard though, losing that loving presence in your day to day. You have my sympathies.

(Catching up on my reading, as you can perhaps tell. For whatever reason the blogs I follow have stopped showing up in my inbox.)

    1. Yes, she was with us for 17 years, and that's a long time for habits to form and expectations to appear. I keep thinking she's here or there in the house.

    1. Thank you, Clare. We are starting to get used to the idea, with teary eyes now and then. :)
