finding Dante at the library

In the middle of the journey of How Dante Can Save Your Life, I came to myself in a back hallway at the library where The Divine Comedy had been left.*

So, I guess I'm going to read it.

*"In the middle of the journey of our life I came to myself in a dark wood where the straight way was lost."  -  the beginning of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

  1. I like it when things like that happen. It makes me feel I am right on track, right where the universe wants me to be. Enjoy.

  2. I hadn't heard of Dreher's book - I don't think. Did you like it? And did you read Dante afterward as planned? I read one volume of The Divine Comedy, I think.... sooo long ago....

    1. I did like it. But he seemed a little too wrapped up in himself - at least, that's how he came across. (but we're, none of us, perfect) I did read it afterward, but later bought another translation, which I haven't read yet.
