I used a rich yellow cotton with little white dots, which is why I also used yellow for the tree skirt. I stuck to lots of red ornaments along with some silver and gold and I think it all looked {pretty}.
(I won't be washing this one!)

A merry Christmas season to Leila and everyone.
The yellow and red on your tree is lovely. I, too, seem to lean toward bright color on the tree. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteVery festive, Lisa! It sounds as though you have really enjoyed that new garland.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSo elegant. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it, but the candy cane pudding was just a box mix - Jello brand. It's not something we normally have, but while doing the grocery shopping before Christmas my girls saw a display of the little Jello boxes with candy canes on them. Even though it required almost zero effort, they enjoyed it.

Lisa, finally had a chance to drop you a line. I saved your Christmas card from last year with your blog address and have enjoyed reading your entries throughout this year. We are definitely Skorupski's with bargain hunting in our blood. Helen and I both enjoy the thrill of the hunt to find a great bargain. Glad all is well for you and Marc ( also love the pictures of your cats. We currently have 2 cats, one is 25 and the other 3) Have a very Happy New Year. Love your cousin kathy
ReplyDeleteKathy! Thank you! A twenty-five year old cat! Amazing. It never occurred to me that all my mother's side were bargain hunters - I guess you're right!
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting. Say hi to Helen and Peter.
Yes, I agree your tree looks very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everybody. :)
