"the brisk hopefulness of morning"

How is it that we are all speaking the same language, but some people have such a beautiful command of it, that a phrase like this just catches you -

"In the brisk hopefulness of morning..."

  1. It makes me think of Anna PVS, who can say in a few words what I would take up ten lines to communicate.

  2. You are right about Anna - she pares down everything to what's necessary, and no more!
But when I saw your first comment, I thought maybe you were thinking about running early in the mornings.

  3. That's so true. I have several "quotes" like that, that I do not like the way people usually like quotes, but because of this...
But most of them are in Czech, so I cannot share. :P

  4. I think you also have to be in the right frame of mind - not distracted, or you'll miss something which calls out to you like that.

  5. I have been running in the early mornings at least I had been until illness descended on our household, stomach flu and strep! I hope to start back next week and YES Anna was my inspiration to start running..something in a post about how much weight she was losing without trying!
