return of the ninja

Well, Cindy is back for another visit - two weeks this time. And that has to be the last time I call her Cindy, because she's been Tootsie at her new home for a while and I must get used to it.

a little sad I think, on top of the fridge

It's going to be like playing the shell game, shuffling cats and litter boxes. I'll keep you posted.

    1. I've known for a long time that she was Tootsie, but didn't try hard enough to call her that. That part will be easy - shifting them around to avoid problems is going to be trying. We'll see!

  2. I know she causes your Dolly some heartache but she really does look very sweet from all the way over here. Be a good girl Tootsie.

    1. I do feel sorry for her today - her people left her here; and while she knows us and our home, of course she is feeling defensive. She is growling often, and she was hiding underneath the chair cover (which she used to do anyway when she lived here). I wonder if she sees us as the ones who gave her up? Right now she's downstairs and Dolly's up.

    1. Phil, for one thing, cats like to be up high when they're nervous or feel at a disadvantage. But, I forgot to take Dolly's dry food away from there, and she probably ate some. :) Dolly's food is a special diet, and quite expensive - and Henry can't get at it up there, so that's where it stays.

  4. Bless Tootsie! Having to go for a visit while her family is away is an adjustment! She should do fine with you, though. I will not speak for Dolly or Henry.:-)

    1. Actually, she hasn't bothered Henry much. But he's cautious anyway. Dolly of course is kept away from her.
