gaudy wreath

I love this - it's a bit much for the front door, but its gold-dusted silk poinsettias are perfect for the living room.

Really brightens up the place.

  1. Gaudy??? I don't think so. It's no more gaudy than the one we have hanging on our door at present.

You are more than welcome to visit my blog and become a follower. I didn't find a follow widget on this site, but if you put one on...I'd gladly follow you.

  2. Thank you kindly - I am grateful for everyone who has any interest in my blog. As for the "followers" widget - I confess I don't like the way it looks - I guess I could say it looks "gaudy" to me! :) But there are 3 who have signed up as my followers anyway, even without it.

  3. It is a lovely wreath. I was able to "Follow" by going to the top of your blog and hitting the word follow. I agree, I don't necessarily like the widget either. Unfortunatly, I have no idea how to get it off my site. ;) I am enjoying your blog journal.

  4. I didn't like that widget either, but I do keep the networked blog one up. I like your wreath, but then I also love the line from One True Thing about the Christmas tree "the key is gaudy".

  6. K., I'm unfamiliar with that - but I guess a bit of gaudy is a good thing!

    Lloyd, thanks for your interest.

  7. I think certain things are less gaudy than others. For example, as much as I love blue and white, I think Christmas wreaths in blue and white (silver) are much more gaudy than this - this has mostly natural colours, after all! So if the nature is gaudy, why, we can be too!
