St. Nick

It's already the feast of St. Nicholas. There's a quilting group which meets at the library, and some of their winter-themed work is displayed there for the month. I like this one.

  1. This is lovely! We celebrate St Nicholas in our house and I still find that he leaves a little gift in Elinor's shoe despite her being 26! :D
We were particularly pleased when we moved to this house to find we lived in the village of St Nicholas.

    1. Yes, I wondered about it when I made out your Christmas card the other day. :) How good of him to think of Elinor, but that shows that he's still the same man as he was centuries ago - always watching out for the maidens.
