I didn't always know that I could plug my tablet into the boombox or stereo to get better and louder sound. For under ten bucks, the cost of the six-foot long cord.
You're welcome, Jenny. You get one of those cords with a the same plug-in thing at each end. Turn up your tablet/phone volume all the way and on the radio turn it on aux or aud and turn up that volume. It works great! Makes listening to podcasts easier.
We get a kick out of doing it because our stereo system was my dad's and is older than I am and we play tunes and things streamed off the web on it via that magical cord. It a lovely mishmash of old and new tech. Kudos for you and your easier podcast listening!
I had no idea, Lisa! Thanks for sharing this tip!

ReplyDeleteBeth, I was ready to buy a new radio for the kitchen that would have blue tooth and a friend who was visiting told me to just get the cord. :D
