A record: one hundred forty five kids for Halloween, and we didn't run out. Of candy. And Dolly didn't run out either (outside, that is), and Henry slept throughout despite the cold air coming in the door.
So many! You must have provided such a lot of candy! We never get anyone visiting us at Halloween and it has never been a custom with us to celebrate at Halloween anyway :)
Wow! That's a lot. And I love that you keep count of them. I'd totally do that. You know, if I didn't live on a street without sidewalks or streetlamps which keep all the kiddos away. Ha! Glad you all fared well.
I managed to pretend no one was in... :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I do when alone, but my brother got out of work early and he wanted to do it, so...
DeleteNo way! That is so many. We live too far out for a single trick or treater, so 145 sounds a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt's more than we've ever had, since we began counting. We're close to our neighbors and with not much traffic, so it's a popular spot.

ReplyDeleteI don't care for the holiday, actually, Clare. But I did enjoy it as a child (chocoholic!), so we do it on years when we're both home at night.
DeleteThat's so fun that you keep track!
