In an unfamiliar supermarket the other day, and this was on clearance. I didn't know you could even buy sprouted wheat flour! Thought you had to sprout it yourself. I look forward to using it.
I haven't seen this either. I had to google it to find out what it is and does. I will have to try this out as it must be better for us than ordinary wheat flour. Thanks Lisa, for introducing me to something new!
I have heard that soaking your grains is better, but I never think to try it, and don't know how difficult it is. The bag says to use it in place of any wheat flour. We'll see! (I suppose it was clearanced because it wasn't selling? The dates are not near the expiration.)
I'd never heard of sprouted wheat flour! I guess that's because I bake so little anymore :-( But I would love to try it. I'm sure my favorite market would have it, and I will look next time...
Interesting! Let us know how it goes. xx
ReplyDeleteI've not seen that any where. The flour selection is getting less and less in markets around me.
