We had snow today. We're still having it.
It was a blizzard in some places- not here. Snow did fall all day, it became very windy at times, but I wouldn't say it was blizzarding.
Accumulations here are not as much as they could have been, everyone got a day off from work because travel was discouraged (banned, really) - the warmth of recent days is simply a fond memory.
No need to feel sorry for me, because it's typical of the month. This is March in New England!
Same here! I don't like March, but I do love New England. :) As far as snowstorms go, this one wasn't too bad!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you didn't have it bad, either, Susan. I was wondering. Snow is beautiful and magical, and I don't even mind it today (was really nice to sleep later and have a day off!), but those springlike days we had recently made me long for an early spring. March is rather confusing. :D
DeleteIt's not typical for March in Tasmania!
ReplyDeleteVery hot and dry here...
But thankfully today is a bit cooler and cloudy.
Roll on autumn... :) xx
I am so glad we did not loose power; we had more freezing rain than snow... I wish that I lived where there was more snow but trying to be thankful for the many blessings I do have!
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you the freezing rain - that's no fun.
DeleteIt makes for beautiful photos - I'm glad you had at least one day off on which you could appreciate the beauty from inside your cozy house.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gretchen. A snowfall always gives the cozy feeling.
DeleteI am so glad it wasn't so bad for you, Lisa. We saw the results of the ice storm in the US on the news programmes and I hoped you were okay. It looks so pretty in your photo! I hope the nice spring weather comes back soon though!
ReplyDeleteI don't think the warm temps are coming back soon, Clare. We're having a little bit of snow again Sat. morning!
DeleteGood to hear it wasn't any worse. I like those white snow and red barn photos. :-) March has been ridiculous here. ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm sure March does not exist in Heaven. :D
