And since I'm on such a roll making these snuggly warmers, it may be that somebody out there would like a pair for themselves. They are one hundred percent wool and a basic one-size-fits-all. My hands are small, and they're fine for me, with room.
If you're interested, leave a comment here - up until Friday, and then I'll have the drawing. How time goes by!
fun! I can't wear 100% wool when it is only the wool and my skin but would be happy to win this to give to a dear friend :) they are lovely and so wonderful about your 1000th post!!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteElizabeth - I often get itchy with wool, but not with these. Anyway, you're in the running!
DeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts! Please don't enter me ~ I'm a knitter too. Maybe someone who doesn't knit will win them. They are a pretty color and look really warm.:-) Just wanted to tell you congrats on your 1000 posts.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Anne♥
Thanks, Anne - I'll remember to keep you out of it.
DeleteCongratulations on your 1000 post, well done.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a warm lushious colour, I am sure someone over there will love a nice toasty warm gift. I have a pair in fine Alpaca, for early morning lap top use, sooo cosy.
A friend has just retired and wants to knit some simple things, can you tell me how much yarn these take? as we are currently "cruising" the charity shops to build up her stash.
So that means you're not in, Margaret? I'll send them anywhere, or maybe it doesn't get so cold down there in winter. They take about 50 yards, and it's super bulky thick and thin.
Deletethanks for the yardage, count me in, if you don't mind the postage to here, they will be great for early morning fruit and vegie markets on Sundays, often cold and windy.
DeleteOkay!
DeleteHi Lisa - congratulations on your 1000th post. I thought I was doing well to get to my 200th recently :)
ReplyDeleteYour handwarmers are such a beautiful colour! Although I am a knitter also, I would still like to go in the draw. It's nice to get something that some-one else has knitted!!
Of course! Knitters are not excluded. :)
DeleteOne thousand posts! WOW! Congratulations--that is quite an achievement, Lisa. Your hand warmers are beautiful. The color is "hopeful" and reminds me of spring. : )
ReplyDelete1000 posts. that's wonderful. The handwarmers look lovely Lisa.
ReplyDeleteoh RATS, I missed it! I do so want to try some handwarmers one of these days! Congrats on your 1000th post - that's amazing. I'm in the 800s, I think. Must remember to do a giveaway when I get to 1000 :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Lisa!
