The landscape this time of year is such a wonder. We got our first snow Monday night here, and it felt shocking, like the first snow of the season always does. I think our fall color's really on the way out now.
Only about an inch, but it hasn't melted since Monday night. The winter coat I'd ordered just arrived today. Before it did, I was bundling up in sweatshirts and one of Mike's long scarves for warmth. I'll look a bit less Michelin Man-ish tomorrow. :)

ReplyDeleteDid you get a "real" snow, like an accumulation? We had a trifle yesterday morning, which didn't last at all. And so cold today!

DeleteSo beautiful. You are blessed to have such a rural view. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a nice yard, Elizabeth. But I'm not in the country really - the homes here are pretty close together.
DeleteBeautiful, if ever I come your way...you should know I want to visit!
ReplyDeleteCertainly!
