A modern impressionism... Photography really did change a lot in art, didn't it? Having a camera in hand completely changes one's perception of the world around, too - sometimes it's a bad thing, sometimes it's good. In this case, I think it's good. So much beauty!
You're right - and I also like to have fun with Photoshop Elements sometimes. With something called artistic filters, I can make a photo look like an impressionist painting, which is very cool.
