A week ago at the beach, walking around with my camera, I also found myself taking pictures of appealing cottage entrances
this one had two plastic flamingoes outside,
and a third in the enclosed porch!
I love a porch - this place was right near the water
It's very interesting to notice the colors people paint their front doors,
isn't it?
all those cottages look so cozy! hope you had a wonderful week =)
ReplyDeleteThank you - I did!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are just beautiful. They make me want to head for the beach. I love the brown shingles with the teal door.
ReplyDeleteOi Lisa! adoro seu blog, coloca um google tradutor , assim fica mais fácil pra mim!.
ReplyDeletebelas imagens
boa semana! bjssss
Thank you Lena! It's nice to have the translator, but it isn't always correct, and then it can get comical! :)
DeleteBeach cottages are so appealing, aren't they? I'm not a fan of plastic flamingos, though.:)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful it is to be back! I love your cottage pics and my door is RED!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
A red door - I'm not surprised at that! :D
DeleteIs. Most people here go for the colour of the wood, or some variation on brown, though. It's the fences that get painted interesting colours, and the gates with them. (We don't have a fence, we have a wall; our metal gate is red. Front doors are brown.)
ReplyDeleteWhich was why I was so fascinated by the colourful panel doors in Estonia, and am on a lookout for them here in the Czech Republic as well now.
That is *very* interesting - colorful fences! We have fences here, but it's not a big thing. They tend to be either metal, unpainted wood, or white.
