Incidentally, I baked an apple pie for the Fair. I could not find the Golden Delicious I usually put in the pie, so I bought Gingergold, a featured variety. When the judges cut into the pie, they bypassed even trying a taste because it was TOO JUICY! Like you, I learned a lesson with that! My husband has enjoyed eating it and says the flavor is wonderful. I really keep myself from trying it.
Nellie, if it's delicious, maybe you can use those apples again, but use (more) thickener. But that's too bad! I'll have to remember the Gingergold's too. (now I'm curious about tasting one!)
Dolly certainly knows how to enjoy the window.:)

ReplyDeleteI love this photo...it's really a lovely shot. *saving*
ReplyDeleteI think it's due to Dolly's tail being "just so"!
DeleteIt is obviously quite exhausting, being head of security while you were away at the beach.
ReplyDeleteHa! I think you've got something there. :)
DeleteLisa, o aniversário era da minha irmã. A comida estava uma delícia.
ReplyDeleteObrigada pela visita.
Abraços.
