Making sure you serve an extra vegetable plus a starch does make a difference, doesn't it?
During the week I often serve our main dish with just one veg, and maybe bread, rice, whatever. But on special occasions and for company I am reminded of how helpful it is to stretch the meal with more sides. Yesterday, any worries that there might not be enough of the lamb came to naught. I sent our guest away with some and we will have leftovers for after-work tomorrow.
