a tale of two cindies

A elderly customer of my brother's had a stroke; she lived with her little cat, and we've been trying to find someone to take it before the brother closes up the apartment and sends kitty off to the Humane Society - but no takers.

So, guess what?  Her name is Cindy. There is much hissing and growling on her part during other-cat encounters but I think it's getting better. She's been here a week.

Up the road a mile away, my friend Cyndi has a few stray or feral cats hanging around and one is a Scottish Fold!  She is trying to entice it in the house with the hope of making it a pet. No luck so far.

    1. It was so hard to photograph her - she is never still! But she's a tortoiseshell color.

  3. I'm so glad you rescued Cindy! We have a lady down the road who feeds 4 stray cats. She also has 2 of her own and 4 kittens (the mother was killed by a car) plus a small dog.

I can't wait to get settled in my own home (as opposed to renting) to get a dog and cat of my own :) xx

    1. So the lovely river area you're in isn't permanent, then?

    2. Yes, the area is permanent, just not this house. The house my eldest son and daughter are looking at buying for me is a couple of blocks away, and actually closer to the river :))

  5. Love your heart Lisa! Bless you and your friend. I just saw a book in the new area on a lady who is a car whisperer, perhaps your friend should read it. Although I know prayer to work amazingly well.

    1. Thank you, Kimmie! I was just thinking of praying for the cats - I really don't want Dolly to ever feel bad because we have another; she is our favorite always. Language differences are always tough. ;-)
