a gift from Val

I got an email from Val the other day - she had an extra copy of Susan Branch's cookbook, Autumn; would I like it?  Well, sure!

I expected it today, and I was right - it came

Val puts a lot of care into things - this was no surprise.

Dolly came over right away and fussed with the tissue wrap

and Val was apologizing for any cat hairs which may have come with the package - is she kidding? 

Thank you, Val!  All is just as it should be.
