Some cats are a bit strange, all the ones I had in the past 20 years would plop themselves down on even 1 small piece of fabric, if it was placed on the floor or a table, while being looked over for quilt consideration.This was always helpful when working out block placement or trying sashing colours etc. Help would continue throughout the whole process... still does, ask Miss Coco,2 months of help for "the Thomas" and" the Frogs" non stop entertainment !
Oh yes - they seem to like to go on a defined space. Dolly absolutely loves to go on a squashed paper bag, which we leave on the living room floor. She doesn't tire of it. But when I had the quilt spread out on the kitchen floor, I closed both of them in another room. :D
