I watch the sugar maple for its daily changes because it can get so brilliant in October. But capturing it is so hard - I'm sure I don't understand my camera well enough.
And I often take the photos from a window, as I'll notice something while busy in the house.
Yes, I always take photos from the window and I have never really understood all the functions on my camera. Those people who have lots of free time or are clever enough to understand the instructions in the camera manual would be able to take a shot and the results would be near-enough an exact image of what they had seen with the naked eye. I don't have the time to wait for the perfect light and I know you don't so we just snap away and hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteI can see those deep glowing reds on the sugar maple. How lovely to be able to see that from your window.
The camera I recently bought has a really nice zoom that still maintains the clarity.
