new checked placemats

I recently made which go rather nicely with these old Vera napkins (that I never liked but don't mind so much lately).

    I'm wearing a dress today that was actually an apron that I sewed closed in the back and made into a dress. I never wore that apron. I wear the dress a lot. Its good when you can give something a new, better purpose. I hope your placemats serve you well.

      The opposite of the usual - dresses are often cut down into aprons! I've used the placemats several times already.
