If it comes out of the fridge "spreadable" then that would be great. I'll give it a try (with my stick blender since it makes clean-up so much easier).Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15739771397106792631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-32186800787958136172012-06-11T15:08:11.960-04:002012-06-11T15:08:11.960-04:00Oh, no Colleen - it gets liquid at room temperatur...Oh, no Colleen - it gets liquid at room temperature, so it needs the fridge.

I just put a stick of butter on the counter and let it get entirely soft, but not melting. It's easier to mix that way. Then into the blender with 1/2 cup of oil.

I've never tried to use my stick blender, but that might be better, because it is a pain to scrape it all out of there!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12503930255842185609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-11617433955541549662012-06-11T15:00:16.073-04:002012-06-11T15:00:16.073-04:00Lisa, Do you store it in the fridge - or just lea...Lisa, Do you store it in the fridge - or just leave it out?Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15739771397106792631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-56683178858425473762012-06-10T16:09:29.213-04:002012-06-10T16:09:29.213-04:00I'm glad I posted about this!I'm glad I posted about this!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12503930255842185609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-40532256221649341432012-06-10T15:42:51.306-04:002012-06-10T15:42:51.306-04:00oh that is fantastic! this looks healthy and makes...oh that is fantastic! this looks healthy and makes spreads last longer. thank you for sharing!Nicholehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01404052398398405704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-78611560278671779892012-06-08T20:18:29.588-04:002012-06-08T20:18:29.588-04:00Hi Lisa, what a good idea,I will have to make some...Hi Lisa, what a good idea,I will have to make some of this today.I have been making my own Garlic infused Olive oil for a while, so much cheaper than the Gourmet bottles.
I don't eat margarine, as at least you know what is in butter, but if I am having something savoury on toast I just sprinkle olive oil straight on to the toast or bread.MargaretPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12990336317308988689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-87775601366467470732012-06-08T11:51:51.970-04:002012-06-08T11:51:51.970-04:00So, that's where it came from!
