I was travelling on the train to Sheffield to visit my daughter as the weather worsened but fortunately, apart from being a bit late because the train's speed was restricted, the journey was fine. It was very windy but as I was in the city we were fairly well protected from the worst of the weather. At home, the winds were very bad and Richard and Elinor didn't enjoy it at all! They lost electricity at 2.00 in the afternoon and it wasn't restored until over 25 hours later after I had got home again. The worst damage was losing our new summerhouse which was smashed to bits! We hope to get a replacement on the insurance though.clare.elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08246678101002977575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-60385319773038457072017-02-24T19:23:38.912-05:002017-02-24T19:23:38.912-05:00It was in the seventies here today, Anne! But I have heard "bombogenesis", and wikipedia says it's the same thing. That was how they referred to our big snowstorm two weeks ago.

I didn't know you were having such a bad storm; 90 mile an hour winds? Take care!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12503930255842185609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-45846237808581098692017-02-24T18:07:00.420-05:002017-02-24T18:07:00.420-05:00Ooooh! I have lots of stuff unusually blooming already. Have a good weekend!♥Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
