For this knit skirt, I cut the two pieces, and just cut each down the center, because I wanted more seaming. I sewed all the seams with a slight zigzag on the machine (and I think Anna often does hers by machine, too) and then just did the top-stitching by hand with heavy duty thread, doubled. It's just a running stitch. I was going to use foldover elastic at the waist but realized that because my waist was fuller, and would be gathered, that wouldn't work. So I just folded the top over for a casing, machine stitched it and put in some elastic. No hem. Yes, it's comfortable. But I think any loose, long skirt, even in woven is comfy - I'm a skirt lover! I'll email you some more information.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12503930255842185609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-79470981597907154012014-06-09T11:01:09.495-04:002014-06-09T11:01:09.495-04:00That looks incredibly comfortable! Can you say more about what knit you used?Margohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16345165456341197559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-29384013421582276342014-06-07T10:24:30.252-04:002014-06-07T10:24:30.252-04:00how nice!!! :) looks comfortable too! :) how nice!!! :) looks comfortable too! :) elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00962587884124992942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3691741652741267481.post-90598693124748082812014-06-07T08:05:48.772-04:002014-06-07T08:05:48.772-04:00Well, you would never need a zipper with a knit!
