before the lawn gets mowed

Little violas in the grass.

Praise to the giver of good!
O lover and author of concord,
Pour out your balm on our days;
Order our ways in your peace.

  2. How pretty they are! Do you mow round them or do you just chop their heads off? :D

    1. Oh, no Clare - my brother mows regularly, and this is the last we'll see of them! Perhaps if we were English, they would be treated with more respect, in fact I'm sure of it.........

  3. Richard mows everything unless I put canes round the plant I want to save. He never remembers unless I do this, so to save trouble I often dig them up and move them to a safer place :D
