How exciting! I have never had forsythia, but my daughter who lives in a colder climate did, and I was there one spring when it was starting. Yay!

Forsythia is pretty rampant over here; but, alas, the temperature's only around 12 degrees C. 80F (about 26C) would be nice...

We got up to 14C here today though it was 21C at the weekend. As Mike says, 80F would be very nice! Our Forsythia is almost over :( I am so pleased that spring has arrived at Lisa's house!
