a winter of our discontent

Three things:

One - Yesterday was Shakespeare's birthday.
Two - I'm currently reading a book about how they found the bones of Richard III. (very interesting)
Three - Yesterday it actually snowed a little here!  (it's cold and not very spring-like)

Glorious spring wouldn't be bad, either. Or even a normal spring.

  1. LOL! Spring is taking its time here too.
A book on finding Richard III's bones ~ interesting. There was an article in past years on the BBC about this. Scroll down and there are links to other articles about it ~ but it may all be in your book! http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-19731622
    Have a nice weekend!

    1. Anne, yes this book is about all of that. I'd kept hearing about it on the radio or seeing it online, and then my boss at the library bought the book.

    1. Thank you - at least the grass is green as emeralds, and I hear birds chirping out my window right now (which said window won't stay open too much longer, LOL)

  3. Oh dear, the weather is all over the place, here we had hot Summer one week and bang straight into Winter the next week, 8c overnight and not much more than 18c some days.
    Big shock to the system.

  4. I went to visit my dad over the weekend. It snowed pretty much the whole time. Also, I just said earlier today that I should consider reading some Shakespeare...and now this...is it a sign I wonder. ;)
