beautiful wool afghan

I had forgotten about this

and came across it in the bathroom, top shelf of the linen closet. I'm pretty sure of who made it - it wasn't me!

It's very very heavy, so I know it's wool; and I'm wondering why I put it in the bathroom - I don't want it in a such a steamy place.

Neutrals, warm pinks and aquas - a real heirloom.

  1. What a lucky find and still time to use it in this current cold weather, how warm and snuggly to curl up under this beautiful cover with a book , some knitting or movie watching.
How fortunate that there is no mould or mildew on it or any holes from hungry silverfish or moths.
It has such a classic, heirloom look to it, did your Mum make it ?

    1. Not my mother, but I'm pretty sure it was a close family friend - she and her husband were like grandparents to my brother and I.
