midsummer's eve menu


from yesterday:

- lemon-ginger iced tea with honey
- easy and mild pickles
- braised chicken
- fresh salad greens with Tasha Tudor's French dressing
- stuffed eggs
- rye sandwiches with layers of pickle, cottage cheese and rose petals
- strawberry shortcakes
