a word about vaporizers

Since my bronchitis last fall, I've been using a vaporizer for a bit every day, and in my bedroom every night for at least three hours.  I'd asked my lung doctor about a humidifier and he seemed reluctant to recommend one. They need to be cleaned out with vinegar daily.

This one was eleven dollars, and is very easy to keep clean.  Dolly, who has sinus issues, also benefits from it.

It's my cold-weather familiar.

  1. Your cat is so adorable, Lisa. And it's funny you mention her in this post because I was thinking about getting a vaporizer recently when my cold was at its worst, but the fear that it somehow wouldn't be good for Stuffed is what stopped me. Maybe I should look into this for next time.

  2. Val, like I said, Dolly has sinus problems. She gets so stuffed up, and I've seen her many a time, settling in near the steam and enjoying it. In fact, our vet had told us to bring her into the bathroom and run the shower when she gets bad, but with this, it isn't necessary.

Get one for yourself, and maybe Stuffed will also like it!

  3. I run these in my children's bedrooms in the winter when coughs begin, it truly helps them!
