I am no embroiderer, but today I've been practicing the blanket stitch. It's enjoyable, but I wish I knew how to begin and end it neatly. So, it's a little messy.
That was my original intention - but I ended up doing something else, but still hot pads. I'll have to post about it in detail another time. I was hoping that you would volunteer to assist me with my embroidery techniques - do you think you can give me any pointers? :)
My younger brother gave me a learn-to-embroider book for Christmas, and I look forward to projects just like this. Maybe next month, I'll start. January has been chaotic and crazy. I love blanket stitch, and yours looks great. The colors look so classic and cozy together here too.
